The Making-Of

The Making-of is a video catalogue of Europe's most outstanding food producers.
CUCINA-TO is a project of ready-made meals that are simple, fresh and good.
Luca, Livia and Elisa are the founders of CUCINA-TO. They met each other years before at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, where, together with other fellow students, they created the cultural-gastronomic association “Cavolfiori a Merenda”. This event-based project gave rise to the idea of a culinary experience accessible to everyone. CUCINA-TO was born in 2011.

The idea is simple:To prepare ready-made meals from highest quality ingredients which are sourced locally and change according to each season. CUCINA-TO brings back recipes into everyday life that need long cooking and preparation times and are thus rarely consumed nowadays.
Luca, Livia and Elisa like to eat well and enjoy being creative. They believe that the most simple things are also the best.

This video was shot in a day. Edited with Final Cut pro.
We used a Sony PMW-EX1, 3 lights, handmade dolly, Manfrotto tripod and a LAV mic.
